- No automatic syncing or background data sharing occurs
Everything remains on the computer you use to run your study.
What Types of Data Are Stored Locally?
During an experiment, Gazepoint software may generate and store:
- Gaze position data (X/Y coordinates)
- Participant gaze video
- Fixations and saccades
- Areas of Interest (AOI) definitions
- Stimulus files and project configurations
- Participant metadata (if entered by the researcher)
All of this information is saved directly to your local storage. You determine where project files are stored, how they are organized, and how they are backed up.
